Yesterday we took part in the 3D printing night at the dap. Here we were able to see some very exciting machines and meet 3D printing enthusiasts. We were allowed to move freely through the various rooms and marvel at many of the printers in action. At each station, there was someone we could ask questions.
We experienced the almost infinite possibilities of 3D printing in a wide variety of materials and applications. Not only plastic can be printed, but also metal or even chocolate. The applications range from small gadgets and industrial applications to medical technology with, for example, personalised prostheses.
At first glance, it's clear that everyone there has their heart in it. You have definitely infected us with your enthusiasm and we can't wait to use what we have learnt on our own printers. Many thanks to the dap (Digital Additive Production DAP - RWTH Aachen) for the exciting evening!
